So Sony Japan is having a conference as of this post where the first thing they announced was a PS Vita price drop to 19,900 Yen. This likely means a price drop to $200 for the base model.

They also announced some other new stuff but I couldn't understand the Japanese. But a lot of it seems to be very Japan specific features.
