according to a pop up notification Rock Band for the iOS will no longer be playable after May 31st.  I don't know why they're totally disabling the app instead of just not selling it; of course it's still on sale and the iTunes page doesn't mention this unless you look down at the reviews.

Nope, just a mistake.

It's just that EA places the "screw over the entire customer base" button right next to backspace, so this kind of thing happens all the time.
