List here.

High points for me:
Warhammer 40: Armageddon - It's by Slitherine, so I have high hopes this one is done right. Just expect a clumsy interface and passable graphics. (One of 4 Warhammer games on the list. I love Warhammer stuff, just seems they are handing out the licenses at this point.)

Motorsport Manager: 20 years ago their was an F1 manager game from Microprose. I loved it and been looking for a replacement ever since. Hoping this is it.

Hearthstone Naxx expansion - Obviously. smile

Anno: Build an Empire - Not a huge Anno fan, but maybe this will be the city builder to shine on a tablet? Free to play though, so not likely IMO.

Card Hunter - the web based game is pretty cool, great atmosphere

Blood Bowl - Love the PC version, not sure it will translate well to a tablet though.

A new Tiny Tower?? Why? I still don't get this "game". I am sure it will be the same game with different graphics as usual from them.

Thoughts?

Fun list, lots of stuff I hadn't heard about.

Some that caught my eye:

  • Death Road to Canada - sounds fun
  • Motorsport Manager - prettier version of a Kairosoft game?  Sold!
  • Fat Princess - had a lot of fun with the PS3 game so I'm curious to see this weird concoction
  • Bears vs. Art - anything Halfbrick gets my attention
  • Framed - I'm a sucker for anything clever and original
  • 80 Days - I'm not totally sold but looks interesting
  • Dog Sled Saga - doggies

Scrolls by Mojang looks pretty interesting and so does the Anno game. Card Hunter I know is a good game. I can't believe there are at least 5 Warhammer games coming out! They must be raking in the licensing fees.

Framed and Plunder Pirates are already games I have on my watch list on TouchArcade (I love watch lists.  I like just getting a little note that my games is released, updated, or has a price drop)

Warhammer 40k: Space WolfExiles, The Witness, Aralon: Forge and Flame, Gabriel Knight: Sins of our Fathers - 20th Anniversary Edition all look pretty great as well.

I really need to finish some of my backlog....

I enjoyed the first one until the progression got too slow, and then I enjoyed Tiny Death Star until the progression got too slow.  But another one already?  These free-to-play games are already so formulaic, 83% of the fun is seeing the formula applied to a new setting.  I don't see how Vegas is going to feel that much different than Tiny Tower 1.

I'm actually beta testing it.  I didn't play any others in the series.  It's amusing but I think they need to make better use of the casino games to make it more appealing to a broader/different audience.

Also, this Empyrios game looks like it could be really cool:

For me, that is the problem with all of Nimblebit's games, bar Nimble Quest, not enough game to them. Just a little more complexity and I think they would be great games. I played Tiny Tower for about a week, and then I realized I was just waiting for timers to run down, there didn't seem to be any challenge. It seems to work for them though, it's just not for me.

One I didn't see on the list but one which will be out next week

80 Days

Quote
Inkle, the studio behind the excellent interactive gamebook adventures Sorcery! and Sorcery! 2, have a new game hitting the App Store next week called 80 Days. Based on the Jules Verne classic Around the World in Eighty Days, you'll follow Phileas Fogg and his valet Passepartout as they try to make it around the world in an alternate-history, steampunk version of the late 1800s.

There are a multitude of paths you can take, as well as a variety of different vehicles for you to travel in. As with the Sorcery! games, the story unfolds in bits of choose-your-own-path dialogue. You're free to choose your own route around the world, and in a very cool twist there will actually be a live feed of the paths other players are going via an in-game 3D globe.

That was on the list just before Tiny Tower Vegas -- it does look pretty interesting.

Yeah, I agree about Nimblebit. I really wanted to enjoy their "Pocket Planes" and "Pocket Trains" games, but there just wasn't enough to do.
