Picked this up yesterday. So far, it's OK. I'm not sure if I like the lack of any level progression system, but I'm about 2 hours in and on level 1-6, so it should have some staying power.

I am in love with this game.  Lots of people have been disappointed with it, but I think it is because they want it to be Thousand Year Door 2 and it isn't.  That being said, it is awesome in its own right.

See, and I absolutely hate it so far. What do you like about it? Maybe I'm missing something crucial.

I'm also really enjoying it.  I love the Super Mario-style world map and the one-use sticker battle system is a fresh take on the traditional RPG battle system.  I'm not far in, but the writing doesn't seem as sharp as in the earlier games and I do miss having companions.

I don't hate it, but I find the sticker system to be really annoying and a terrible design.  I find myself avoiding all the bad guys, which is very un-Mario.  And I'm worried about using powerful stickers on weaker enemies, then not having any when I need them.  Plus, I don't like getting those super big stickers at all.
