You’ll Be Able To Play Baldur’s Gate On Your iPad This Summer
PC role-playing game Baldur's Gate will soon be living in a post-PC world. The beloved classic will be out for iPad this summer, developer Overhaul Games said today.
It will also feature new content (!) and a new party member (!!!).
Overhaul writes in a press release:
Running on an upgraded and improved version of the Infinity Engine, Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition™ will include the entire Baldur's Gate adventure, the Tales of the Sword Coast expansion pack, and never before seen content including a new adventure and new party member.
Miniature giant space tablets!

damn, this makes me really want an iPad. I know the PC version is coming too, but the whole touch interface could really rock with this one.
Yeah, I am going to be getting the iPad version instead of the PC version. This is the type of game that screams for the touch interface of the iPad and should be awesome. I really hope they bring the rest of these D&D games to the iPad in the future. |

Didn't the original fit on 7 CD-ROMs? So figure ~600MB x 7 CD-ROMs = ~4 GigaBytes or about the same as one 2-hour HD movie. |
