Killzone comes to the Vita with some impressive looking gameplay.  not sure I care for the kill values popping up, maybe you can turn them off.

Quote
With Killzone: Mercenary, we want to offer PlayStation Vita owners a fresh perspective on the brutal conflict between ISA and Helghast – literally. For the first time in a Killzone campaign, you’ll be fighting alongside Helghast forces as well as ISA specialists, carrying out missions that the regular soldiers just won’t — or can’t.

As a mercenary, you’re free to decide which tactics and loadouts you’ll use to fulfill your contract; your employers will reward you with state-of-the-art weaponry and cold, hard cash as long as you get the job done. But what is the price of that freedom – and will you discover it before it’s too late?

It looks good, and is a nice reuse of the Killzone 3 assets, also looks like it explores more of Helghan.

But, I still want another Killzone Liberation style game that's isometric. Now that the Vita has dual analog sticks, the game would work even better.

Heck, give me a new X-COM style turn based strategy with this premise.

Still, not sure where they're going with the series after KZ3's ending.

Ron's at a preview event right now where he just got his hands on it. Sounds awesome: http://gamingtrend.com/2013/01/31/killzone-stub/#/vanilla/discussion/embed/?vanilla_discussion_id=0

As good as this is looking, I still want another Killzone Liberation. That game with proper dual stick controls would be wonderful on a handheld.
