Epic Mickey is coming to 3DS this Winter: news story. Not many details, but it's from the guys who made Monster Tale which was a decent enough game on the DS.

I must of had the Master System version because i remember playing that a lot,and that was the only SEGA machine i have had



EDIT:sorry i was thinking of Magical Quest on the SNES,that's the one i played

Castle of Illusion was a lot of fun.  I think that may have been the very first game I ever finished.  I also enjoyed Monster Tale so here's hoping!
