You shouldn't vote for Romney because he speaks... French *gasp*

The ad, released by rival Newt Gingrich, seeks to draw unflattering parallels between Mr Romney and another Massachusetts politician, John Kerry.
Entitled The French Connection, it features a clip of Mr Romney talking in French when he ran the Winter Olympics.
Correspondents say the highlighting of Mr Romney's alleged French-language skills is an attempt to portray him as an elitist, European-style liberal wimp.

 
This is Gingrich realizing he is done and trying anything to diminish Romney, if only by a little bit, just out of spite.

There are people out there who find such advertisements persuasive.

I plan to take advantage of them, hire them at substandard wages to perform my various menial tasks, and find ways to take their money to buy a beach house and maybe educate my children at ivy-festooned schools.  If it amuses me, I may find a way to have them legally classified as cattle.

Romney needs to convince voters that it was Canada French, not France French. We can forgive Canada French because the Canadians are not cheese-eating surrender monkeys.
