Chicago is a nightmare for this kind of thing. I may be just an angry, Chicagoan, but I think the corruption here is pretty unique in its prevalence. I doubt there are any remotely honest politicians in Chicago.

Kissinger, Nixon, Otto Reich, John Negroponte, Luis Posada Carriles, Osama Bin Laden, Prescott Bush, Neil Bush, "Jeb" Bush, and on and on.  They all serve the cause, they are all "made" men.
