I just find this too humorous; isnt the Vatican kinda powerful and rich?

Pope Benedict XVI condemned unbridled “pagan” passion for power, possessions and money as a modern-day plague Saturday as he led more than a quarter of a million Catholics in an outdoor Mass in Paris.

Having money/power and *loving* money/power are two separate things.

"For the love of money is the root of all evil" - 1 Timothy 6:10, emphasis mine.

Most people don't make that distinction.

Well then I must be the epitome of evil.  I enjoy living comfortably, I appreciate the power and responsibility I have worked so long and hard to obtain, and I value my possessions.  And yet I love my wife, I help my fellow man, I contribute to society, and I maintain a strong moral lifestyle.

I take offense to anyone condemning my fabulosity.  Fabulous

Enjoying the finer things in life does not necessarily an evil man make.

Embrace the evil.  It gets a LOT more fun once you do.
