So,
2 senators have their name as sponsors of a proposed amendment to the United States Constitution called the Marriage Protection Amendment
Sen. Larry Craig (R-ID) -
he of the "Wide Stance" in airport bathrooms
Sen. David Vitter (R-LA) - the one caught in the
DC madam's phonebook and outed by Larry Flynt
With friends like these, I guess Marriage really does need protection...

They'll get to it right after the Bob Packwood Memorial Sexual Harassment Act of 2008, the Edward Kennedy Transportation Safety Amendment of 2008, and the Trent Lott Racial Harmony Proclamation.

Given Senator Craig's previous alleged affairs with men, isn't it possible that his opposition to gay marriage is not hypocrisy, but just a fear of commitment?
