For Bush, that'd be cocaine, not booze. He looks coked up. His pupils are dilated.

If you say so. When someone asks me if I want the president to be more like the guy next door and "less like [my] boss" my immediate answer is "$%#@ no."

But that's such a fucking awesome set of pictures to go on a facebook account. Goddamn, I wish I had an awesome fucking profile pic like that. I'd still rather have him doing that as a Wal-Mart manager though, probably suit the level of responsibility he should be given though.

You're probably drunk. (Apologies in advance to The Dubliners...) "As I went home on Sunday night as drunk as drunk could be I saw a thing in her thing where my old thing should be Well, I called me wife and I said to her: Will you kindly tell to me Who owns that thing in your thing where my old thing should be Ah, you're drunk, you're drunk you silly old fool, still you can not see That's just the Prez doing a Chest Bump with me Well, it's many a day I've traveled a hundred miles or more But a Prez doing Chest Bumps I never saw before."

These presidents were hardcore. This is merely non-presidential - it would likely be viewed differently if he were a better president.

Unbecoming of the office, but basically a private matter. Your point? I think Laner's point is that Bill Clinton's "unpresidential behavior" was somewhat more noteworthy than bumping chests with an air force academy graduate. He's right, too: in the category of "Rather Silly Behavior Which Means Absolutely Nothing to Anyone Except Those Directly Involved," it would be hard to be critical of President Bush's behavior in this thread without being far, far more critical of Bill Clinton's infidelity. If Bush had spent the last seven years implementing wise policies and responsibly pursuing all any the high-minded goals his administration frequently preaches about, he could have slam-danced up and down the stage while showering the graduates with sacks full of human teeth for all I care. -Autistic Angel

If President Bush had done a good job these last eight years - hadn't gone to war in Iraq, Dick Cheney had never been born, Afghanistan had remained top priority, civil rights hadn't been abused, etc. I think more than a few of us would quite like this man and find his enjoyable chest bumbing at the end of his tenure to be awfully amusing and indicative of his youthful gravitas.

Someone post some pictures of Bill acting like a dork and I'll be happy to make fun of him. And if someone wonders if it isn't a little "cool" to see Bill acting like a fratboy, I'll say "no, it's not."

Bush has done some rather odd things while in office. Things that probably the leader of the last remaining superpower shouldn't be doing. Frat boy level of behavior. For instance...walking up behind the female German Chancellor and rubbing her shoulders at a G-8 Summit. Doing the two step on the White House patio while waiting for a news conference to start. Bobbing your head and tapping your foot to a military brass band while sitting on a stage with the Pope. Breaking etiquette with the Queen of England. Chest bumping and flexing your muscles at a graduation.
I understand he is human but I think when you represent a country you have a level of decorum you should maintain in public. Maybe not the level of decorum the Queen of England lives by because that is just freaky but still act like an adult. I think it comes down to a lack of respect. He doesn't respect others enough to even call them by their given name but rather gives them all nicknames, including other heads of state.
