At least half the hotels I've stayed at in the last 12 months don't have a Gideon Bible. I'm currently staying at a resort hotel in South Carolina with no Bible to keep me from the temptation of sin. This is the South! and I don't have a Bible waiting for me. I might expect this in CA, but not other places I've been like SC and TX. Do they only service the low end motels now?

I was in Las Vegas this weekend and had this discussion with my ol' lady when I couldn't find a bible.  Surely that town above all other needs saving.  Maybe they just wrote it off and declared it acceptable losses.

What about the Book of Mormon?  Those are in a lot of hotels too.
