So if you received your 2007 tax return through direct deposit they will automatically use DD for this, or do I need to go somewhere to tell them to use that method. I don't want to have to wait until July for a check damnit!

They will DD the stimulation into the same account you used for your 07 taxes.

When does it come if say: you filed jointly with your wife, direct deposit and your last two digits are 75 and hers are 06? Does it come according to her numbers or yours? QUESTION OF THE AGES.

Dammit, my SSN ends in 89 so I'm the last batch, but I am DD at least, so May 12 for me. I planning on getting either a PS3 or an Amazon Kindle. Haven't decided which yet.

What is everyone else buying with theirs?

My half will pay off the shoes I bought last month and the emergency vet bill we're going to incur tomorrow morning. I need to replace some worn-out clothes. If there's anything left after that, I'll save it for the next disaster. My wife's half will repay part of the taxes we had to mail in last week.

nice info...means i should be getting my deposit early next week icon_cool

as for any plans for the money, my advance has been spent for months already...goes toward paying off my trip to africa at the beginning of march.  it was definitely money well spent though...and most of it went outside of this country.  i guess that doesn't do much for the US economy though icon_wink

Using it to offset the expenses of what I had to pay the government in the first place. Unfortunately, it doesn't come close.

Using half towards rent and the other half for a car payment. After that, there's nothing left.

150K AGI is where the cutoff is for the max for a couple, it tapers down fairly rapidly above that.

I'm getting mine and I'll take it, but this is really nothing more than an effort to buy your vote in November.

I'll use mine to fill up the gas tank in the car.

I agree.  That being said, this isn't going back to the economy.  This is going to pay off a credit card.  biggrin
