Interesting.  I'm glad they decided to at least error on the side of sanity and realize that sometimes lil' Johnny needs a good 'attention getter' and some time-out action.

I'm surprised the prosecutor brought the case, particularly for a felony.  Were there extenuating circumstances, or prior history?

Saw the first article, but skimmed right over it as it didn't seem Fed-esque in the first perusal...

Curiously enough, I've seen that picture a few times recently, or at least the background as I'm not certain it's the same picture with that pair in the background...
