I'm not against christianity. I wouldn't call myself an atheist exactly. I'm more agnostic (er, at least, the EverQuest definition of the term, haha). I used to go to church when I was younger, and I believed and whatnot. But no longer. Anyways, I'm interested in reading about the history of Christianity but from a non-christian's perspective. Or at least, an objective perspective. I want to learn about how all the little beliefs were established and what they're based on. I want to learn about the bible and why certain books are in it and others aren't. I want to know all the little dirty details. I've always been curious about this stuff, and I think it's time I learn.

Go to Amazon.com. Type in "history of christianity" under books. It's like magic! And they all have comments that are at least as good as you'll find here.  |
