According to the new PPP poll, 51% of Republicans support either marriage equality or civil unions. No snarky aside from me, other than to note that that's higher than the 45% of Republicans who approve of John Boehner's performance as Speaker. smile

Does any elected official have a approval rating over 50%?

California's Prop 8 probably (if I remember the stats I saw) would have passed but for the black and catholic (in California thats big time Latin) vote. Both normally democratic voters.

I'd like to see Obama's latest post-bin Ladin numbers. IIRC Bush hit something like 80% immediately after 9/11.
