D.C. Is Sued Again Over Handgun Rules

Quote
Gun rights advocates have threatened litigation since the city enacted its registration rules July 16, three weeks after the Supreme Court ruling. The District's acting attorney general, Peter Nickles, said yesterday that the city's and Heller's interpretations of the high court ruling are fundamentally at odds.

This seems like a problem with any Supreme Court ruling let alone the "landmark" Heller case. Now we get to spend months or maybe years for more interpretation on the original ruling.

Is a magazine loaded pistol a machine gun?
Does the right to immediate home defense include the ability to have a working and loaded gun in the house?
Are fees and ballistics tests a burden to getting a registration?

Stay tuned.
