Donald Trump says he has “very big news” about President Obama that could significantly alter the race for the White House just two weeks before Election Day.

“Something very, very big concerning the president of the United States,” Trump said Monday on "Fox and Friends." “It’s going to be very big. I know one thing — you will cover it in a very big fashion.”

Trump said he would “probably” release the bombshell sometime on Wednesday.

Apparently his wife talks about some stress in their marriage back in 2000 in a few interviews.  Barack even brings it up in his book, if I'm not mistaken.  It was so bad that she reportedly even filed divorce papers before they worked things out.  If this is what Trump is producing today, I hope he gets taken to task for it.  

...however, that will still be a win in his mind because the only thing the scumbag cares about is publicity.  What else can you expect from a man who inherited everything he has, then lost most of it and has had to file for bankruptcy on more than one occasion, marries what are essentially prostitutes, then discovers that tv can make him infamous...which is fine with him because that word still has famous in it.

SO, can't he submit a Freedom of information act request for that? Or since it's private info, can only Obama  release it?

They haven't been released because they are personal records.  There is no requirement or precedent to release college and passport records.

Technically, there's no requirement on tax records, but that precedent was thrown out the window by Nixon.

A Wall Street Journal editorial on November 13 spoke to the heart of the issue:

It does seem unseemly that the President of the United States should almost completely escape taxation. Since he is in some way supposed to set a national example, a case can be made that he ought to bend over backward to make sure his taxes are not too low.

The editorial then called for a strengthening of the minimum tax to close loopholes. The editorial concluded with:

Plus there's the slippery slope. Yesterday it was the birth cert. He released that, so today it's college and passport records.
