Will Barack Obama clinch the nomination numbers he needs tonight? So far today he's picked up over a dozen delegates, before any votes in MO or SD are counted. According to MSNBC, he's 28 delegates away from winning. His website says 30.5. My count says 29.5.

In any case, the number is collapsing rapidly.

Tonight, he should pick up at least 16 delegates from MO and SD, as well as 5 super delegates from MO. Will he net 9 more delegates between now and then?

MSNBC now has Obama 25.5 away.

25.5 - 16 pledged from SD/MO - 5 SDs from MO = Obama needs five more superdelegates today to win the nomination!
