I'd recommend watching the entire clip to get the full context, but the real humiliation starts around 3:50.

The interesting thing to me is not that Kevin James appears to have little knowledge of Neville Chamberlain's policy of appeasement, but rather that he doesn't even seem to know the definition of the word "appeasement."

Boy, that's excrutiating to watch (mostly because Kevin James appears to have forgotten how to use an "inside voice") but it was delightful.

"What did he do, Kevin?  What did he do?"
"HE WAS AN APPEASER."
"What did he do?"
"APPEASER!  APPEASER!"
"What does that mean, Kevin?"
"APPEASER!!!"

I'm going to guess that Mr. James won't have another Hardball appearance anytime soon.

James comes off as a blithering idiot.  But he had one line that I think you will hear about a million times between now and Nov 4th:

"Barack Obama, endorsed by Hamas.."

I can almost see the commercial now.

That meme's already been pushed by the central office, which is why you've heard it from bottom feeders like James, as well as Mr. Straight Talk himself, and now his proxies like "Mitt" Romney.

Color me shocked that Bush isn't the only Republican who never have sat through a history class.  On the heels of this week's stunner, the Republicans need a new playbook.

Quote
Stunned House Republicans vowed campaign changes Wednesday and debated the wisdom of attacking Democratic presidential front-runner Sen. Barack Obama in congressional races after their third straight election defeat in once-friendly territory.

“The political atmosphere ... is the worst since Watergate and far more toxic than the fall of 2006 when we lost 30 seats,” Rep. Tom Davis of Virginia wrote the leadership in a bluntly worded memo.

“Clearly, I think we’ve got to do a better job” going into the November elections, said the Republican leader, Rep. John Boehner, one day after Democrat Travis Childers won a Mississippi congressional victory. That seat had been in Republican hands since the 1994 landslide that swept the GOP into power.
Other than fear and negativity, what do Republicans have to run on?  Oh, that's right, banning gay marriage.  Other than fear, negativity, gay marriage and stopping illegal immigrants, they have nothing.  How could I forget the emails telling me that Obama is the Antichrist? Fear, negativity, gay marriage, illegal immigrants, the Antichrist...and extending the Bush tax cuts.  And the status quo in Iraq.  Now THAT is a winning platform!

What does the opposite of fear mongering look like?  Check out this short video on Obama's Get Out the Vote drive.

I happened to catch this segment live last night.  Comedy gold.

"WHAT DID CHAMBERLAIN DO?!?!"

"DID YOU ORDER THE CODE RED?!?!"

I wish people would press political candidates like this. How often do they know what they hell they're talking about versus spewing whatever their speech writer told them to say.

I'm with you there, though the embarrassment for our nation may be too great.
