Old news by now, but this forum needed a thread about it.

I hate it for his family, but I'm glad the $400 haircut buying, preppy pretty boy bull shitter is completely finished politically speaking.  Thank God.

Every time I hear Trump on ANYTHING, I'm immediately reminded that he has the single largest ego on the face of this planet.  He really is one of the most obnoxious humans to ever walk the earth.

...now we return to our regular scheduled program.

At least he's facing this head-on. Denials aren't a bad thing; if you ask anyone if they've tasted semen they'd emphatically say no.

When you start showing them photos of them eating Big Macs their resolve begins to waver.

People can accept infidelity.  It's the lies and hypocrisy that will pretty much end his political career.  Personally I always thought the guy was a phony.  He never came across as genuine to me.

I am slightly disappointed. That Edwards link wasn't funny, is was pathetic.

With every politician who comes down the pipe, I am always reminded that we can do better than this.

Wow.  Does being named 'John Edward(s)' come factory installed with psychic ability, or what?

They should start a new show together: 'Crossing Over- With John Edwards'ss's....'

I like the OP's subject:

Quote
Another Unfaithful, Dishonest Democrat

It's not like Republicans aren't guilty if this as well.

Newt Grincrich?

Quote
In 1981, Gingrich wed Marianne Ginther, to whom he remained married until 2000, the same year Gingrich had an affair with a then 33-year-old Congressional staffer, Callista Bisek

And Newt went on to marry his mistress!

Larry E. Craig?

Quote
According to a police report, a plainclothes police officer investigating complaints of sexual activity in the bathroom at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport arrested the senator on June 11 after what the officer described as sexual advances made by Craig from an adjoining stall.

It's true - for a party that constantly claims the moral high ground, it appears that adultery doesn't disqualify you from being elected.

Take, for example, Senator McCain, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee who famously abandoned the wife who waited for him throughout his captivity in Vietnam, only to dump her after his return (and a mildly disfiguring car accident) for the woman with whom he was cheating on her.  Cindy was a wealthy beer heiress who funded his congressional run, so I can see the attraction.

In fact, even the smaller party candidates are guilty of this, given Bob Barr's famous adulterous ways.  In fact, f you're looking for hypocrisy, it'd be hard to beat Barr given his sponsorship of the Defense of Marriage Act.  Obama's the only presidential nominee untainted by sex scandal; he's only on his first wife.

You forgot Poland Nader. Of course, he's even worse than a cheater-- he's a bachelor, and as Charlie Crist knows, that's not good for political aspirations.

I think the thread title was poking fun at the recent rash of "Yet Another Republican blah blah blah" threads. Everyone knows that both sides of the aisles are guilty.

That's how I read it.  Look, I know the Democrats are in a slump.  Yeah, a few have cheated on their wives.  But where's the crowd-pleasing plays?  Where's the bathroom solicitations, the dalliances with 14-year-olds, the putting dicks in the mouths of sleeping contributors?  The Republicans are just owning the field on that sort of thing.  They came to play.  But I believe in the Democrats.  They've proven their ability in this field again and again.  Before you know it, they'll be running rent boys out of the Capitol or leaving hook-ups to die in rivers or shit like that.  I believe.  I have to believe.

This is just a tip of the iceburg.  Republicans who are being forced into the "ultraconservative" crowd are just starting to lash out.  The more their liberal tendencies get repressed, the more creative their outlets will become.

Democrats on the other hand, are stuck in this loop of wanting to be more conservative, but party loyalty has them trying to maintain this "ultra-liberal" mindset.  Their problem is, due to underlying conservatism, is they have no creativity.  Everything is just some variation of adultery.  The more shocking the circumstances, i.e. cheating on your cancer stricken wife, the more conservative that person wants to be.

Of course, I have no idea what the hell I'm talking about, but in the end the headlines will read:

Democratic Senator admits having an affair with 3 women at the same time as wife dies on operating table, giving birth to twins. And Republican Congressman caught in rural township snorting crack and  performing oral on a donkey while having sex with a underage goat.

Just you wait.
