I've made it well known how much I dislike Palin. I feel she's a self-serving, fair weather politician who embodies everything I feel is wrong with politics. Recently however, Michele Bachmann has been stealing her limelight...and I've come to feel the exact same way about this woman as I do Palin.
But the amount of distaste I have for these two has made me stop and ask myself if that's because they're women or is it because I honestly dislike them for their beliefs and/or past behavior?
The only tangible argument I have against my fear that I'm being sexist is that I actually respect Hillary Clinton. I may not agree with her all the time, but at least I feel she's qualified and well thought out.
