Simple really.  Let us know who, and include a picture.

Many people will probably have the same person, which is fine. But for the sake of fun, please include a different pic.

Most people know mine... but I'll start:

Wow, tough call - but I'm IN!  I'll have to think about it (Oh, NO!) then find a pic, but i'll be back!

Gambit is very, very cool looking - where's he from?  Sorry, not a graphic novel reader - his name sounds familiar, but that's all... :?

EDIT:  wow, too many in the running - from the "Silver Era" lol:

superman, boy, girl, dog
batman, robin
spiderman
hulk
the flash
aquaman
green lantern
green arrow
green hornet (guess I like green)
wonder woman
zorro
the phantom

Yeah, okay, you'll all yell about Zorro and the Phantom, but c'mon - they are Superheros as long as Batman is...Tongue

But the winner is (after much anguish):

Oh, The Dark Knight Batman, no doubt. The twisted, oft-visited Arkham, ride-the-line between criminal and savior Batman. smile

First pic easy... second one?  Maybe the lead from the Dark Tower series by S. King? :?

Second picture is of Yorick from Y, The Last Man.  It's a great series, although he really isn't a superhero...he's just a normal guy who happens to be the last man on earth.

Mine is probably Spider-Man with Batman right behind.

The first is Wolverine, after have been infected by the Brood.  The second is Yorick Brown and his pet monkey Ampersand, from the comic Y The Last Man. The basic premise of the comic is that every man in the world suddenly dies at once, except for Yorick and his male monkey.

He and two female companions, one an agent of a secret government agency, the other a geneticist (who believes she may be the cause of all of the men dying), are travelling across the country, trying to get to a facility where the geneticist has the tools to start up her cloning research again, in hopes of repopulating the planet.

Along they way they get into all kinds of trouble from Amazons (think a giant lesbian gang who believe that the male of the species should stay dead), the government agencies of other countries, who want him for obvious reasons, and naturally women who want him for themselves.

I can't really explain the books well enough for you to appreciate it, but they are great. If you're interested in checking out a few "review" copies, pm me.

Give that man a cookie. While Yorick isn't a "super" hero, he's is a hero of sorts in the book. I still lump them into the same catagory, mostly because it's my favorite book at the moment.

You ever read Brian Vaughan's Ex-Machina?  That's a pretty good series as well and it's done by the same guy as Y.  Vaughan is probably the best writer that works on lower-tiered books (ones that don't sell necessarily well), except that he also writes Ultimate X-Men currently as well.

I haven't had a change to pick that up yet, but I will look into to. I don't really read many comics these days. In fact, the only books I've gotten in lately are Y and The Walking Dead, which is the best zombie related comic I have ever read. I burned myself out on comics in the 90's with all of the marvel titles I was into. By the time I decided to get into them again, I was married, and marriage seems to have a way of killing a lot of hobbies.

The first trade of Ex Machina is only $9.99.  Vaughan won the Eisner (comics' version of the Oscars) as best writer and Ex Machina was named best new series.

Always loved colossus, no rhyme or reason.  He was always my favorite X-Man.  Although Bishop was pretty rockin and Synch was alright.  Savage Dragon and Spawn were cool.

Plus everyone loved Lobo. Shame he wasnt a superhero smile

I like too many to pick one.  It also changes according to what I've seen lately.

If we are talking cartoons rather than comics, however, the Batman cartoons are my favorite, and Superman and JLA are great as well.  In fact, Im going to check if any of them are on now  smile

Hey guys... thanks!  This is fun stuff to look at, especially on a Friday morning.  EP - Is that character called Snake or something?  I forget who that is, but he is way cool looking.

And Rob made me think of my childhood hero, so I want to include him:

Judging from the obvious after-effects of steroid usage and far too heavy eye-liner, I'm guessing this is from The Punisher: Gender Identity series?
