because the last witch show (The Secret Circle) worked so well slywink

I kinda watched the original series, I have it in my Netflix instant queue with plans to watch the whole thing at some point.  Of course, the show has only been off the air for 7 or so years, so isn't it a bit too soon for a reboot?

The networks have gotten reboot happy again, even though they rarely seem to work out.  Reboots of Murder, She Wrote, Remington Steele, Boy Meets World, and Falcon Crest are also in the works.  Actually, only Murder, She Wrote is a reboot, as the other three will be "sequels" featuring the same characters and settings.

I thought Octavia Spencer was supposed to be Angela Lansbury's daughter?

Charmed was so thoroughly mediocre at its prime, and the concept so banal.  that this will be doomed to fail, unless they put it on some niche network with lower ratings requirements.

Remington Steele as a half hour sitcom seems like it's doomed for failure.  Soon ABC will be trotting Blue Moon  Roll Eyes

So would Cabot Cove accept Octavia Spencer as Angela Lansbury's daughter?    icon_eek
