Woke up at about 7:00 this morning and it was just raining. Went back to sleep for a couple hours and just woke up to about 2 inches of snow on the ground! Sweeeeet.
Now I get to go let my dog out in it for the first time. He's never seen snow, so this should be interesting...

It's funny how much I love the Spring, Summer, and early Fall. I can't wait for the warm weather every year, I try to wear shorts and tshirts as much as possible, I hate being cold, and wearing several layers of heavy clothes makes me feel constricted and uncomfortable.
However, all that changes when it comes to snow. There is something so beautifully calming and relaxing to me about snow. I love to watch it, sitting inside and looking out the window or just sitting outside in the snow. Anyways, there is really no point to this post. Hopefully we will get some snow in DC by december.

Actually, driving around in snow is great fun. It's when you need to shovel the stuff, or when your car breaks down in it that snow stops seeming so fun...

Sorry for the image quality, but the only digital camera I have is the crappy one built into my camcorder. Anyways, here's Vader in the snow:    It's starting to warm up a little, so I doubt the snow will last past tomorrow.  Nice to have while it's here though. |
