Sources have told The Verge that a modified version of the browser will include Kinect functionality, allowing voice initiated navigation through the console's Bing integration, as well as motion-based gesture commands, although Kinect will not be required for use.
In addition to adding another feature to Xbox Live, the inclusion of a web browser will create a closer resemblance between the company's console experience and Windows 8, which could be a useful tool to increase adoption for the upcoming PC and tablet operating system.
A roll out date for the service has not been specified, although E3 would be an opportune time for Microsoft to make such an announcement. People have been asking for a browser for a long time,seems a bit silly to do it now on the 360,unless it could be a practise run for the next 360 |

I really can't see that happening,i think its only BBC iPlayer that is free for all because it would of been illegal to supply it to only GOLD peeps they should stick it where the Bing Search is now and just enable you to say "Internet Bing Spankwire" or whatever,instead of it being another App,that seems to already be quite clustered in there looks like i may have to get out my old Final Fantasy 11 keyboard for my 360 again...hmm,actually on second thoughts i have a Chatpad now |
