Be warned that if you know nothing about what happens the trailer gives away some major points. Suffice it to say I'm more excited about it than I was before I watched it which means the trailer does its job well. I think Ratner is pretty good at copying others and some of the shots from this looks like he mimiced the style of parts one and two well.

I'm totally with you. Seeing the trailer definitely ramped up my interest in the movie. I am now willing to give Brett Ratner the benefit of the doubt - which I should have been able to do from the beginning, I suppose - and judge the movie after I have seen it.

the trailer renewed my interest in the movie, for sure. Lets hope the pictures that circulated were shots that needed CGi added in for some reason, and looked dull becuase they WERE dull. I love the storyline they are using, it was my favorite comic book story line ever. I really hope it can live up to the other two movies.
I remember back in the day, before the spawn movie came out. MCFarlanes people were at the comic book show here in michigan. As was Al Simmons, to promote the comci and the movie. They were showing non cgi enhanced cluips from the movie. BORING. The major scene they showed was right in the beginning when Spawn jumps through the glass window into the ballroom. No cape. No glass. Nothing. Just people running, and being afraid of a cape that wasnt there.
Lets hope.
