Had the day off today and went to my usual haircut place. My turn came and so I took my seat. And lo and behold my stylist was someone new. And she was hot. Real hot. Very in shape, bright smile, big eyes, perfect blond hair. So I knew I'd enjoy this. So as usual during a haircut she makes small talk. I end up asking her if she's done her christmas shopping yet. She says no, and that she is starting today. She says she has a hard time finding gifts for others, but that she is easy to shop for. I ask her why, and she tells me just buy her an xbox or computer game and she's good to go. Wha?? Such a hot girl who likes video games?! Well then the floodgates opened she told me all the endless details of Halo 2 and World of Warcraft. So, we really hit it off. Eventually we talked about other things, but there was a definite chemistry. She was very sweet and well spoken, not stuck up. It usually takes 15 minutes or less to get my haircut, but she took 45 minutes cutting my hair. She took her sweet time, which was fine by me. She kept stopping and would stand in front of me and look me straight in the eyes to talk every now and then. Sigh.. I was entranced.
At the end of the cut, after I paid her (with the usual tip, nothing big), she grabbed a card and wrote some info on it. It said "Merry Christmas, Jenny" and she had written a phone number at the bottom. She handed it to me with the receipt and a big smile. WHen I took the card, I used my left hand and made sure she had a chance to see... my wedding ring. She gave a playful frown and I told her to have a merry christmas also. As I walked out the door another stylist went next to her and whispered something. Jenny replied, just loud enough for me to hear, "figures, best ones are taken."
Don't get me wrong, I am VERY happily married, to my dream girl. But I have to admit, as time goes by things become routine and whatnot. Being around this girl was exciting and made me feel invigorated. And yes, she is extremely tempting. But I love my wife, so when I got home, I shredded the card with her number. But, wow, what a haircut.

that really makes me think i need to go somewhere else for my haircuts. all i get are overweight women who barely look like they know what to do with their own hair, let alone someone elses. they usually do a decent job though...and they're cheap... i used to have a great barber that i went to when i was a college undergrad though. the guy was an ex-military motorcycle enthusiast and worked on bikes when he wasn't cutting hair, and the walls inside his shop were always covered with swimsuit calendars and military pictures. i walked in for a haircut one day when it was pouring down rain outside, and he told me one of the best things about his job was being able to look out the window of his shop on a rainy day and see all the college girls who forgot to take a umbrella for the walk to class...lots of wet shirts. he also knew every dive bar and strip club in the area and could tell you which were best. you just don't get that kind of service from women in a hair salon...

You metrosexuals and your frilly beauty salons. I get mine cut at a men's barber shop that been around longer than I have. I have a woman and a man cut mine depending on the day of the week I go. I get a flat-top and Im happy about it!
But id also like one like her to do me sometimes....me..my hair..do my hair!

Doh. It's obvious what you need to do. Introduce her to her fellow geeks at CG!
Then she can be hit on and have her ego boosted by a bunch of faceless geeks!
Oh yeah. TTIWWOP.

Were you getting your hair cut here? There's one of these just down the street from me, but somehow I don't think Mrs. Gratch would take kindly to me making it my regular barber shop.

Like you, the Mrs. would not like me going there. Just my local Supercuts. As an added bonus, the haircut is actually very good. Honestly, I hadn't met someone that I had such an instant attraction to in many years. Made me feel young again Well, younger than I am.

I pay under $10 for my haircuts (cut + tip) and I like it that way.
Metrosexuals indeed...

I find nothing 'metro' about having a nice looking female running her fingers through my hair....nor her firm rack placed inches from my nose.
