In India, a new restaurant has opened named "Hitler's Cross".  The scary thing is, people don't seem to have a problem with this, despite the fact there is a swasticka on the sign...  What is this world coming to.

Hell yeah I'd eat there, and get my picture taken too.  And buy a T-Shirt.

I don't hate Jews or anything, (quite the contrary, I've got a soft spot/fetish for Jewish American Princesses), but the sheer ridiculousness of it all would be fantastic.

Oh man, what if the waiters were dressed like the SS?  "HEIL und willkommen to Hilter's Cross!  Smoking or non-smoking?"

Probably not the greatest name for a restaurant, but it sounds like there is no malicious intent.  Still, they must have known there would some type of backlash.

As to eating there?  Yeah, I would.  Just for the surreal experience of eating at a restaurant with that name.  That would never fly here in the US.

Despite that whole freedom of speech thing, you're right, we crank out way too many jewish lawyers for this to survive over here.

Ah, actually the swasticka comes from India. Hitler modified it slightly and used it as their party's symbol. I'm not sure if this is a kick in the face to Hitler by India or just some sort of very strange marketing gimmic.

Here's a link you can educate yourselves :-) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swastika

How many Soviet-style places and shirts do you see, with the hammer and sickle?  How many Che shirts are floating around?  Soviet Communism had killed far more people than the Nazis, they just didn't get defeated in an shooting war.

I was wondering if they had a Kosher menu.

Though I did hear if you eat too fast you'll get gas
