Switched up the title cause I'm actually looking for baseball talk.

Anyone even remotely excited about the WBC?

I'm happy Vlad isn't going (not under those circumstances), but how bad would it look if someone got really hurt during this whole thing?

Wow, and I was just about to remind you we already have enough Fight Night threads in the sports forum!

I'm excited even though I don't know anything about it.  Like where or when they are playing.  Or who is playing.  But as long as the bottom-tier teams aren't left floundering in the wake of the Yankees then I am thrilled!

I think everybody should be forced to play for their countries.  That way there will be no whining.  I really want to see some of those Latin American teams play.

I think team USA starts next Tuesday...

Anyone have a place that we can see the breakdown of players by MLB team?

Interested in seeing who's most at risk.

I think it's pretty exciting.  I just wish it didn't take place right in the middle of spring training.  Hopefully it doesn't have much adverse effect on the regular season (for my teams anyways!   ).

I agree.  If baseball did so poorly in the Olympics that it is being dropped, what chance does this thing have?  I guess the fact that the Olympics occur in the middle of baseball could be one argument but then again these guys can't be in top form in March either.
