Where is everyone going?  Anyone have to trave to spend time with the fam?

As for me, I'm local, so no travel.  A few friends want me to stop by, but since I don't have a car anymore, it's hard to make the "holiday circuit" now.  So I'm just going to hang out with my brother, and see my friends on another day.

Was going to Texas to visit my parents, but my son is just getting over the Chicken Pox.  We are going to stay home instead.

My son's teacher says it is really going around right now.

Both my family and my wife's family are local, so no traveling on our part.  We'll be hosting them at our house on Christmas Eve and then everyone will be going to my parents' house on Christmas Day.

Let's see...

I have a wedding rehearsal dinner tonight. A wedding Sat. night. Sister's house Sunday. In-laws house Monday.

Nice, restful holiday weekend coming up.

Christmas day I'll be working.  No biggie as so is my wife.  What is great is that right after work we leave for California.  We have the following planned:

3 day park hopper to Disney
1 Day at Universal Studios
1 Day at Sea World
1 Day at The San Diego Zoo
1 Day at the Wild Animal Park

It should be a GREAT getaway, and will spell the first vacation I've had with my wife in roughly 5 years.  We need to get away for a while.  We'll be back on January 1st to kick off the new year with you guys!

i'm flying from Hartford, CT to southern indiana so i can spend the holiday with my family.  in fact, i'm sitting in the airport right now, waiting for my flight to board...only running 20 minutes behind so far.  the one nice thing is that i do have my laptop now...time sitting in the airport passes a lot more quickly with the internet to keep you company icon_cool

Technically I don't celebrate Christmas because I was raised in a Muslim family, but this is the first time my girlfriend wont be spending Christmas with her family (they moved to another state) so I'm trying my best to make it an awesome day for her. So, I'm spending my holidays at her place.

Frogs Honey and I are driving over to my parents and spending the morning with them (they're only about 15 minutes south of us by freeway) then we're coming back here to chill for a bit before heading back over sometime in the mid afternoon to watch the Cowboys pwn the Eagles. The day will be capped by our annual Christmas dinner then we both have Tuesday off. Wednesday = back to work. W00t. tear

I'll be working, far away from home unfortunately.  And I won't be home until around the 6th of Jan.  It sucks being away from the mrs, who's back home, for the holidays.  I'll be in a hotel somewhere with the crew on the nights of christmas eve and christmas.  Ugh.   icon_evil

I'll spend most of my two weeks off at home with friends.  I plan on going to my mother's house on Christmas day for dinner.

I am thrilled I don't have to travel over the holidays.

Meeting a whole side of my girlfriend's family on Christmas Eve.  This is their big get-together every year.  Sort of nervous.

Christmas will be with immediate family and soon thereafter I'll be moving all my crap to Seattle.

I did my holiday dinner shopping yester day:  a few cases of Killians Red as the good local beverage store closed a couple of days early for the holiday icon_evil
