Quote
FREMONT, California (AP) -- A pack of angry Chihuahuas attacked a police officer who was escorting a teenager home after a traffic stop, authorities said.

The officer suffered minor injuries, including bites to his ankle, Detective Bill Veteran said.

The five Chihuahuas escaped the 17-year-old boy's home and rushed the officer in the doorway Thursday, authorities said.

The teenager had been detained after the traffic incident.

The officer was treated at a hospital and returned to work less than two hours later.

Yeah man, Dog Wars would be awesome. Rival breeders send our their furry minions to attack one another for the dominance of the canine selling world.

I know, why didn't he just kick them or something. I'm for kicking dogs, but when they are biting you, that's what you have to do.

I take it none of you have owned a chihauhau?  They are vicious when angry, they have to be considering their size, and they know how to fight.

My chihauhau, named E.T., was the sweetest little thing until something got it angry, usually my other dog, which was 2 or 3 times its size.  Then they fought it was the chihauhau that won.

They're also fast little things, no doubt the cop tried to kick them off but they can dodge pretty quickly.

I have two.  They aren't vicious though - mostly just little noise-boxes.

My wife has one.  Her mother is on her second one.

My mother-in-law's first had that Cujo, "will flip on you at any moment" mean streak running through her veins.  Mostly docile, but do something she didn't like and there was suddenly a snarling and viscious attack dog in your face.

My wife's is a fat, lazy bitch (literal).  Think she's a little princess.  Enjoys barking at minor disturbances from outside, but other than that is pretty tame.

My mother-in-law's second is mildy retarded.  Not really fond of any people but her owner, yet she's the friendliest dog you've ever met to other dogs.  She's a five pound, tea-cup, Beanie Baby sized chihuahua that thinks playing with the "big boys" (55 lb. mutt, 30 lb. schnauzer, 20-25 lb. pugs) is the greatest thing ever.  She uses Boudreaux (our aforementioned 55 lb. mutt) as a jungle gym.  She has none of the territorial issues you typically see in the breed.  Honestly, I think someone forgot to tell her what she is.

I swear I had to read that five times before I understood it properly and picked my jaw up off my desk.

I mean, I know the 'Smoker is all for telling it how it is, but damn!

I'm sure they are both lovely.
