As odd as it sounds, I actually miss reading.  I used to read so much more, but with so many distractions it's difficult to stick with it.  It's hard to pull away for some quiet reading time.  I still read, but I have such a backlog I doubt I will ever catch up.  I simply need to prioritize better...

Hehe, I still remember the kicking drills you ran. Those were great, except on Mondays when there were only little kids to work with. Nothing like having to kick below knee level  :lol:

I do a ton of technical reading... I think it has been a good seven months since I read any sci-fi or fantasy =\ Last book I read was Fire Bringer by David-Clement Davies. Great book.

Last book I read was the final chapter on the Tawny Man trilogy (continuing the Farseer trilogy). Now I'm just patiently waiting for George R. R. Martin to finish his next book.

I tried to get into Belgariad, but I wager I would've enjoyed those books more, had I read them as I was starting to get into fantasy. Now it's a bit too late.

Though I do still have Elric of Melnibone saga unread.

I'm actually reading a book called The Order of Things, which is just a big book of lists.  It's a reference book with things like all the kings of Norway, weights and measures, the rules for praying to Mecca, all kinds of interesting things.

The last real book I read was The Last Citadel by David L. Robbins, a kind of historical fiction about the Battle of Kursk in World War II.

I'm still trying to finish The DaVinci Code.  I'm about 9/10 of the way through, but I always seem to get sidetracked with other stuff.

It's a good read, but maybe a little overrated so far.  The story and concepts are interesting, but there's not much in the way of characterization.

Just finished "Cat's Crade" by Kurt Vonnegut...my brother has been telling me for a couple years I should read it and finally did so.  Great, great book.
