There is a thread like this on QT3 that I found amusing so I thought I'd pose the same question here. What was the top song in the US and UK the day you were born?
Here are mine:
US: "I Love Rock 'n' Roll" - Joan Jett and the Blackhearts UK: "Ebony & Ivory" - Paul McCartney with Stevie Wonder

Me too! I've always loved the song (very funny hearing the live version of it) and had no idea it was #1 when I was born.

There's a lot of 70s songs that I know are pure cheese, but bring back a lot of memories of being a little kid and seeing stuff on the Jerry Lewis telethon or variety shows or AM radio, etc.

January 27th 1976 UK-Queen Bohemian Rhapsody spent 9 weeks at number 1 from 29/11/75....Abba-Mamma Mia replaced it on the 31st Jan 76..thank god for Queen!! (strangely enough Bohemian Rhapsody contains the lyrics Mamma Mia,Mamma Mia) US-Theme from Mahogany (Do You Know Where You're Going To)-Diana Ross i would rather have a more 'Beatley' themed birthday, but never mind EDIT:oh and that site Eel Snave put up,for some reason puts up January 31st number 1s,instead of January 27th like i asked

When I was looking for the answer today I picked up a nasty virus called Internet Security 2010. Spent most of the afternoon figuring out how to get rid of it. I think I got it at that site when it opened a video player window. Fortunately removal was pretty easy once I figured out what was going on.

I have heard that the number one way to pick up a trojan or virus in not porn but music lyrics. Music lyrics? My Spy Sweeper has stopped many a one when I have gone to music lyric sites.
