Question is just that? What new shows this season are you looking forward to. The only one I really know enough about to highlight is Studio 30 on the Sunset Strip, which looks just fantastic. So what about you guys?

Also-does anyone know a good resource that summarizes when TV shows are going to debut this year? TVGuide usually has it, but I can't find it there right now.

Nothing new this season interests me even remotely.

I will be sticking with my current lineup of House, NCIS, CSI (all 3), Monk, Psyche, Numbers, Criminal Minds and Cold Case

Lots  of stuff this year.  First off, serialized story telling is this year's "It" thing and since I'm a huge fan of serial TV then I'll be checking out:

Vanished (first episode already premiered and I enjoyed it)
Kidnapped
The Nine
Six Degrees (isn't this the one from JJ Abrams?)

Under the category of cool, sci-fi type concepts:

Heroes
Jericho

Also I've heard good things about a new show on CBS called Smith or something like that so I'll be checking that out.

And of course, Studio 60, for obvious reasons.

And I think there might be a few more I'm forgetting.

And of course the returns of Battlestar Galactica, Veronica Mars, Lost, and 24 (not till January though).

Not new, but I can't wait to see what pans out with The Office this next season.

Aside from that, that "Shark" show with whatshisname looks... eh.  I guess I'm just looking forward to some more shows from my favorite shows (i.e. The Office, (psst Tom Goes to the Mayor), Boston Legal, etc.)

Even aside from the torrents out there, Vanished (and Prison Break S2) are being offered online free of charge from Fox.

The only new show that I'm interested in is Jericho, but that's on opposite of Bones, so I dunno, I guess bittorrent may have to come into play.

On the other hand, I believe Jericho is one of the shows that the networks are posting online, for free, the day after they air.  If so, I'll just watch it that way.

Last season I watched Veronica Mars entirely on my computer.  This was a major advantage in a couple of ways.  Number one, it was in widescreen, which I compared to fullscreen on my tv- no comparison, WS rules.  Number two, the clarity and resolution was MUCH better than my standard tv picture.  It was like comparing VHS to dvd.

Until I get an HDtv, which is not anytime soon, I'd prefer to watch tv on my computer monitor(19") anyways.

The Wire (HELL YEAH!!!!!)
This is probably the best show on TV right now.  I flew through the DVDs in record time, I was so engrossed.  Seriously great stuff.

Also, there's The Shield, 24, Lost and Rome down the line.

Brand new shows : Heroes and The Nine look interesting.  I haven't seen previews for anything else.

for new shows Heroes has my interest piqued the most.

I actually am more jacked for the 3rd season of The Office, as I am really interested where and how they take it from here.

Sadly, two of my favorite shows right now (Monk and Psych) just ended their season until January.  It seems like they just started with the new episodes a couple weeks ago.  KHAAANN!

Of the new shows, I might check out 20 Good Years, 30 Rock, and Help Me Help You.

There's one with James Woods coming on CBS.  Shark is what it's called methinks.

James Woods is very underrated and hopefully viewers and execs will give him a chance.

Not much other than that though.

I can't wait for The Office to get back on the air.....biggrin

Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip - watched the pilot earlier this week (available via Netflix) and it holds much promise.
Heroes

I'm sure there's a couple other new shows I'll try out (Jericho, Shark), but these two definitely have my interest piqued.

For returning shows, Veronica Mars and Battlestar Galactica top the list.

Absolutely nothing.

95% of TV is absolute crap, and as such, I don't watch anything short of the evening news occasionally.
