Can't even remember where I found mine, but I thought it was a cool picture.

I'm glad Dep clarified, as I've always wondered what the hell that blue thing was.

My avatar is stolen from www.bloodmage.com.  It's the avatar of ANGRY_KOREA_MAN, the infamous war 3 player.  I use it because he's my personal hero (funniest kid playing war 3, who knows how to have fun), and because I love persian kitties (I have two myself).

Btw, https://akm.zergs.com/fourm/phpBB2/download.php?id=1362 if you want to watch a hilarious AKM-style war 3 replay.  Enjoyable even if you aren't a big war 3 fan.

If you're too young to recognize my avatar then you suck.

But seriously - Last few years I've been reminiscing about how much I enjoyed the UnderDog cartoons as a child so I went and bought a DVD set to give to my 5 year daughter last month. Amazing how much better they were in my memories.

I felt that way about both Speed Racer and Battle of the Planets.  Oh, and bigtime with the Transformers movie- I watched it a few years ago, and it was just terrible.

Robotech has held up pretty well, I think.  But even as a kid, all that crap with Minmei was annoying as hell.  I remember going to school kind of shellshocked when...

Spoiler for Hiden:
Roy died, and later when Max died.

...but it showed me how powerful a story can be when a firmly established character gets killed off.  Pretty good lesson, and certainly not something you would learn from GI Joe or whatever.

And as for Robotech...I watched it (Macross) all the way through about 6 years ago and for me it held up quite well.
