Great thread!

This was my first album ever purchased... Well, the first one over the counter that is, since  I purchase two albums that day.

I can't believe that album is going to be 30 years old in a few years,

Original Cover...anyone lucky enough to get it?

I was lucky enough to get the original cover LP of Appetite for Destruction

And yeah, I had Chipmunk Punk too.

If you want to go WAY back, this is the first album that I ever owned. I must've listened to it 20 times and could recite all the stories verbatim.

Yeah, I was going to say, that wasn't the cover I remembered from that record.

It was on the inside cover of the cassette fold-out.  I remember having to hide it from my parents.

I have that, its an excellent album.  Richard Burton does the narration and theres a bunch of 70's era british rock musicians contributing including Justin Hayward of the Moody Blues.  Its worth checking out if youve never heard it.
