Here's the question:
What is the maximum amount of money that you would pay for a single hour worth of good entertainment?

The medium of entertainment is irrelevant here because the assumption is that you, being entertained, are having a great time, so the cause is moot.

I would have to say that the maximum amount that I would pay for a single hour of awesome entertainment is around $9.00.  Lesser entertainment would lower that based on this chart:

Considering I will buy and play a superb 8-10 hour game for $50, and I regularly pay $9 for a 2 hour movie, I would guess on average I am willing to  pay about 5-6 per hour at a maximum.

It depends on what her name is and how good she is.   unibrow

For extremely high. entertainment value, for instance, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, I probably would have paid $30 per movie. Fortunately, i didn't have to pay that much, but I would have.   I am willing to pay $50 for a ticket to see my OSU Cowboys play football, which works out to around $15 per hour.  I have to say that would probably be my upper limit, although I might spring for the $90 to $100 it would cost to see one of the Circque de Soleil (sp?)shows someday.

Hmm, see, I don't think that it compounds logically.  That's why I asked about one hour.  For example, I would be willing to pay more than twice the amount I would pay for one hour for two consecutive hours of awesome entertainment.

10-15 bucks.

That will get me parking and a good seat at an A's game, with a hotdog and a soda.

I once spent $50 bucks in less than an hour at a strip club, I thought it was worth it in terms of entertainment value.

But that's the going rate for that kind of thing, I wouldn't spend even $15 for a movie, any movie, because that is not the going rate for movies no matter how entertaining they are.

$15 gets you all of that?  That barely covers parking at Dodger Stadium.

Ha. At one time I used to go drop a couple hundred at a clip. I'm glad I don't do that anymore...
