Chocolate, some cologne, a Toronto Maple Leaf toque and a PSP (which I bought) which I'm about to try and return because it came with 2.50 drivers preinstalled.

Xbox 360 (purchased and opened almost a month ago but my official "big" present.)
-Mario Kart DS -Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney -Kameo -Call of Duty 2 -Need for Speed: Most Wanted -King Kong
-Feast for Crows (Twice! Once from both my parents and my in-laws. Will be making a return tomorrow) -V for Vendetta Hardback
-Tupperware (I'm not kidding)
-A Few Shirts -Slippers -GIGANTIC Mag Lite -Tape Measure
-Alias Season Four (for both myself and my wife)
-Couple of Best Buy Gift Cards -Olive Garden Giftcard
Unfortunately, Need for Speed and King Kong were both for Xbox vice the 360. My parents told the clerk "for the new Xbox" but didn't really know the difference in packaging when the clerk rung up the wrong versions. Not a problem at all though- I'll be exchanging both tomorrow for the 360 versions.

Not much in the way of actual presents this year, as we're flying out for a weeks vacation tomorrow. Did manage to score a decent inexpensive digital camera (Fuji 4.1 MP), a couple Monty Python CD's, and the 'Rudy' DVD.

Leather Briefcase = professional. I've brought a leather soft briefcase to every interview I've ever done and I've always gotten comments later that it really stuck out. Now all you need is a suit with a slit in the back for your shark fin and you'll be all set Mr. Lawyer.

I got a new 21'' CRT monitor, a new office chair, some DVDs, and some new clothing. Not a great year, but I wasn't expecting that much. What was the biggest surprise to me was the lack of any video games - this is the first year I haven't gotten any for as long as I can remember.

ALWAYS ask for something outrageously beyond what you are seeking, and when they come down to what you want, they think they got a bargain

- Animal Crossing for DS - Yay! - 3 - yes, THREE! - pro memory cards, two that I can use with my (birthday present) digital camera, and one for the PSP - triple wOOt! - Chocolate, but of course - plus other little stocking items. - the best ever "liner shell" jacket, thin, warm, waterproof, comfy - wear it around the house to save heating bills, or put it over two layers for pretty cold weather, or under a jacket for verrrry cold weather, very nice. - "Ghost Stories of New England" - fun book with fun stories, including Lizzie Borden - what's not to love about Lizzie Borden? - historical fiction book about Spartans and war - yay, again! - fiction book by forensic scientist - read one of hers before, loved it. - wool socks, wool hat - hey, it's New England! - a hand-forged iron heart with our initials inside - from one of our "faux nephews" (sons of friends) that we gave blacksmithing lessons to for a high school graduation present - and who says there's no karma?! Still have a few outstanding (in both senses of the word) gamer friends to report in, so I'll keep you posted on the video game front! Our Christmas seems to go on for a month after, lol.

It wasn't the gifts, it was spending time with family that was the great present. That's what I always tell myself too. It helps for a few days, then I realize I got the shaft compared to all my friends and some of my family members. I haven't opened my junk yet this year though, so I can't complain just yet. Give me a few days though. I'll be back.

Games: Metroid Prim Pinball Atelier Iris And I was allowed to go buy: Gun - Cube, Call of Duty Big Red One - Cube, Romancing Saga, Both Brothers in Arms for PS2 and Spartan- Cube
Books: Feast of Crows - Of course I have to read the best fantasy writer's next book Shadow of the Giant - Best Sci-Fi series ever(Ender/Bean) Exile's Return - Third book in Conclave of Shadows, the series that introduced me to Midkemia
I got a Larry Johnson Kc Chiefs Jersey, very, very, very awesome A Norelco electric Razor that can be used in the Shower A small souvenier Chiefs Helment Wool Lined slippers with hard soles from Eddie Bauer
A Craftsman Tool chest, one thos big red ones that holds a ton of stuff and can be locked. A dremel rotary tool...
Hmm. I can't remember what else, but I know that there's more. What's nuts is that I got my wife more stuff! We went crazy on gifts this year, being that it's our first christmas and that we really haven't bought each other anything in a while. It was a lot of fun.

Yeah it was great Christmas and then I saw the Eb sale for Monday, and my wife said I could get some extra games. I traded in some stuff and bought a bunch of recent releases that I had been holding out for. I didn't expect to get nearly as much stuff as I did. The coolest part was the tool chest which was out in my Shed, which is lucky because I almost did some painting last weekend and that would've spoiled it. We've already decided to go smaller next christmas. We spent around $800 bucks total this christmas, and while it was worth it and worth waiting till now to spend that kind of money, we'll be okay taming it down some I also forgot to add that my mom got me and the wife a Fondu set, Flannel Sheets and a Semi-Down Comforter/Blanket. So yeah it was a good haul, best since I was a little kid :o

We do ALOT smaller than we used to , and it is WAY better, but that`s a whole new discussion  . My wife and I got a MKDS Bundle w/ ultimate spiderman DS and a intec accessories package of sorts. Now that we both have DS`s , it `s crazy around here! I got some Zappa discs I didn`t have, and my wife got the new 311 disc, not too bad. Heh. My pets got a $40.00 gift card, heh. And, there were a few more things. A shirt etc. But it was pretty "under control" this year, and actually enjoyable! Much more enjoyable!

A crucifix (my Aunt said she ordered it straight from Jerusalem...on the internet...) A nativity scene (same Aunt) TML, is that why you said this? It wasn't the gifts, it was spending time with family that was the great present. Just kidding, you are absolutely right, plus the huge coffee cup will help for those all-nighters that should result from the gift cards!

I got Arrested Development Season 2, some gorgeous shirts from Express, The Complete Calvin and Hobbes and a calendar that is all pictures of beagles! That last one's like a present that you get to open every month.
I also got a check from my aunt that threatens to suddenly morph itself into a new video iPod.
