I celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve, so I'm done exchanging gifts. I'm also running a 103 degree fever. I walked away with: Battlestar Galactica Season 1 Planetes: The Complete Collection Shura No Toki: The Complete Collection Hellsing Ultimate 2 books: Deathstalker Legacy and Deathstalker Return 1 tie (black and red, actually looks quite nice) As you can see I'm a big Anime fan. I'm hoping Battlestar Galactica is good. I've never seen it, but I've heard great things. Merry Christmas, everyone!

We have 3 christmas celebrations, 1 for my wifes fathers side, 1 for her mothers side, and our family one, then a couple small ones.. Only 1 out of the way right now, the kids got some GREAT stuff.. A couple of fantastic things we are having a lot of fun with that came from some of the relatives yesterday; Greatest toy, ever. http://www.zerotoys.com/newsite/products/newzeroblaster.htmThe thing shoots rings of smoke that look fantastic, and bounce off peoples heads and stuff. Khet/Deflexion http://www.khet.com/Like chess on crack, with a mix of stratego and checkers. Really cool stuff. Deltasand http://www.deltasand.com/This is playdoh on crack. Sand that doesn't make a mess, and never dries out, and can form into anything you want. The kids spent hours today carving out castles and other stuff. Really cool, well worth their grandparents importing it from sweden. On a final note, a *GREAT* thing about having kids is the fact that they get great stuff from people I can play with, and I can spend loads of cash on them for stuff they will love - but deep down - I will love it too!

Big legs, you have to watch not only your own laser, but the enemies, and it adds some pretty serious depth trying to factor trajectories of the lasers with your placements and how each one may/may not interact with your mirrors OR your enemies mirrors. Really exciting game if I must say, I could play it constantly. Plus, like everyone says - IT HAS LASERS! BGG 7.2 rating is considered high on that website; http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/16991

4 games of Khet tonight, and I crave for more.. I am tempted to wake the neighbor for a game, lol.. Khet is now on my top list of best games, and I have a pretty big selection of Euro/German board/card games, so that says a lot.

I haven't gotten anything gaming related as expected, and due to shipping problems I haven't gotten some of my gifts yet, but so far I have gotten a couple books (Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close and The Pursuit of Happyness), a little Foreman grill, a free month of NutriSystem (I need to lose some weight amd am bad about cooking for myself so this might be good), an Amazon gift certificate and some other little "stocking stuffer" things.

So far I've gotten $90 in Best Buy Gift Cards, new Keen shoes, a picture frame with pictures of the two statues in front of Lambeau Field that my fiance took, new scarf and headwarmer, some new shirts, a desk organizer, a new CD, and a couple of other odds and ends. I still have a few gifts coming, but so far I've made out pretty well.

Merry Christmas Everyone. I got a 8800GTX, A+ Cert book, about 100 bucks in cash, tuition paid for next semester by my grandma so I am happy. I just wish my father would get back from Iraq and be able to spend time with us. Well, enjoy your time with your families and don't party too hard. :slywink:

It's virtually impossible for someone else to buy me something related to computers or gaming since I often just buy for myself whatever it is that I want.
So nothing gaming related, but there were still a few surprises for me under the tree today.

I got a 19'' LCD Monitor, an Xbox 360 (premium), a dozen Xbox 360 games, an Elura 100 (mid-range camcorder), a new watch, a $40 gift card, and a bunch of other, lesser items.
Overall, my best Christmas thus far present wise.

$25 gift card for Hastings Book and Record Multimaster tool by Fein Tools 360 wireless Live headset 360 battery charger with two batteries for controller 2 pair of jeans Corderoy jacket wallet windshield for my scooter
Embarrassingly too much when I look around and see what good that money could have done. Amazingly, my wife's best friend called Christmas afternoon and told my wife that her Dad handed her and her sister each a check for $82,000. And he said they would get another one like it next Christmas. Jeez! Just when I thought my scooter windshield was pretty cool.

I made out awesome this year. The haul (between wife, in-laws, & parents):
- 3 tan and 1 grey Dockers pants - 3 Polo shirts for work - Brown/Black leather belt - 2 pair of new Vans - New Univ. of Utah hat - Storm-tater & Artoo-Tater to go along with my Darth Tater figure - Pirates 2 & Cars DVD's - DVD burner - New wallet with $15 gift cards to Borders, B&N, Gamestop, Circuit City, Applebees, Ruby Tuesday, and a couple other local restaurants. - Padded goalie shorts - $100 in Amex gift cards - $75 cash
And to top it all off, we were surprised with a $20,000, no-interest, pay-back-whenever-we-can loan from the in-laws so we can start the in vitro process next month. We thought we'd have to wait a whole 'nother year to put the money together for that.
Needless to say, it was a damn good X-mas.
