(Figured I'd cover the bases)

I'm asking for (and have already ordered) the Blade Runner CE 5 Disc set on HD-DVD, but I'm also going to try my hand at RC Choppers.  I'm asking for a 3 channel Apache with hopes of one day moving up to my childhood dream of owning Airwolf. smile   What about you guys?

I already got everything I was supposed to get for Christmas.  I know, I know...I'm impatient...oh well...

I got: Super Mario Galaxy, Assassin's Creed and I was supposed to get Mass Effect but got Rock Band instead.

I need to butter up my wife to let me buy some MS points so I can buy the Metallica pack in RB.  I'd be a dead man if I did anything else.  smile

I decided.  I'm not even putting up the decorations at work this year- told the boss I don't care about them and if he wanted them up someone else could do it.  The X-Mas spirit just isn't there this year.

I'm going with video games and movies as I haven't been buying any since my decision to return to graduate school.

On the list are titles such as:

Games
Assassin's Creed
Mass Effect
The Orange Box

Movies
Live Free or Die Hard
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
The Bourne Ultimatem
Day Watch
Ratatouille
Spiderman 3
Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End

That pretty much covers it.  I can't even think about what else my wife may have put on my list for me.  This year I'm just looking forward to relaxing with family and friends.  A handful of movies and a few games and I'll be perfectly content.

I'm getting what I really needed this year - a much needed vacation from work. After some major drama and craziness for this project I'm working on, I get to take most of December off. In fact, I'm only working a total of 8 days for all of December.

As for games, I may ask for Mass Effect but everything else I already bought myself  icon_lol.

My wife started leaving out the sale ads turned to the printer pages. I told her what I would absolutely require in a next printer, and she told me what she wanted, and I found an HP unit on sale. We ordered it last week and it's gonna be here any day.

It's a color LaserJet with duplex printing, a network card and a scanner. It can be a copy machine without turning on your PC and will crank out color pages for a lot less than our very old DeskJet.

http://www.shopping.hp.com/product/printers/laserjets/1/storefronts/CB395A%2523ABA

(we got it on sale last week for $474! It's back to $699 now).

Hohoho!!

Well I was hoping for these really cool USB DVD storage thingies, but tigerdirect is completely sold out my wife said frown  Sucks!
So now for my wife's list I'm angling for a g30 (?) keyboard, and maybe a copperhead mouse so I can pwn in COD.

Austin has my list of games though...should he get me Hellgate or The Witcher??

Yep!  I have that series on DVD.  Erin Grey!  nod

Nothing for me this Christmas.  It's just me so my kids will probably give me the next season of Charmed on DVD.  I already bought myself my Christmas gifts:  an Xbox 360 Elite, a 52" Samsung pure LCD TV (love it!), Dish Network hooked up to the max with HD programming and a boatload of games.  Since it's just me I can buy whatever I want anytime although I usually just spend on the kids during the year and treat myself around this time of the year.  See what not dating (and spending money on) women can do?  I can buy a brand new LCD TV and not blink an eye (financially or otherwise).  thumbsup

I'm asking for
A Hard Shell Case for my Electric Acoustic Guitar that I recently purchased
Anchorman
A Portable HD to use for extra storage or transfer
A Car Starter

And thats all I really need.
Apparently I'm getting a trip to Las Vegas to, but I'd rather have that in Cash so I can buy a PS3, but whatever.

I'd love an iPod Touch for Christmas, but I was pretty spoiled throughout the year so I'm not really expecting that to be under the tree. Mass Effect and BG: Razor are probably the two things I want the most.

To be honest I'm more excited for my son's presents, especially the Robosapien deal we just got him.

Will do. I almost got one last year but the price was still around $100 or so, I was excited to see the price had dropped and you got an extra robot too. Ethan loves all things Star Wars and droids/robots so he's going to love it.

I'm bad at asking for gifts that aren't DVDs or gaming things, so I really have to stretch myself a bit sometimes.  Here's what I have:

Transformers HD-DVD
Spider-Man Blu-ray Trilogy
StarCraft: The Board Game
Stargate SG-1 Series set
Ultimate Matrix Trilogy HD-DVD
Voltron Red Lion
Voltron Black Lion
Marvel Heroscape
Dilbert Day-to-Day Calendar
Sudoku Daily Calendar
Star Trek: The Animated Series DVD
Press Your Luck DVD game
Jeans/Slacks

Yeah, I didn't do too well on the non-gaming, non-DVD items.  I basically put stuff on there that I usually know I'm not going to get.  My wife has hinted I'm going to get a tool from my parents for Christmas.  I'll probably be returning that as I really don't do that many projects.  She didn't want to argue with them to not get that.

I tried not making a list last year, 'cause I wanted to be surprised and see what other people thought I wanted. I ended up getting a bunch of random crap that I had no need/desire for and were mostly duplicates of things from other peoples' lists. This year, I hope to be different.

I generally feel bad about putting expensive items on a Christmas list. THAT makes me feel greedy. So I try to put items that are mostly $40 or less. My wife's family is good about coordinating with each other on expensive items though (and her mom can be a big spender), so I stick some "pie-in-the-sky" items on there and see what happens.

I also feel guilty about making Christmas, lists but it's a necessity since my family has no idea what I like or want.  My main problem is that I don't want to put expensive things on there, but if it's less than $50 I've probably already just bought it for myself throughout the year.  I try to keep a few games, books, CD's, DVD's that I can put on the list.

This year my parents are going way above and beyond by giving me a washer/dryer for my new apartment as a combined Christmas/birthday gift.
