I've had this song stuck in my head on and off for a few weeks.  It's in the same vein as some Queens of the Stone Age.  I wanted to buy the album but the rest seems to be of a different style, so I just keep listening to this song on YouTube:

Kongos - I'm Only Joking

Anyone else?

That's a good song. Never knew before who did it but I've heard it on the radio a time or two.

I've had this one stuck in my head ever since reading about the guy who choked to death at a hot dog eating contest last week.

I'm really digging Southern Sun by Boy & Bear. That whole album is actually really good.

Jack White's "Lazaretto"

One of my favorite current artists. I can't get enough of anything he does. Same goes for Beck. It has been a good year for albums between those two. New Opeth coming out later this year too, but they might be past their prime at this point.

When Angry Metal Guy awarded The Ocean's "Pelagial" with their Album of the Year award last year, I kinda scoffed.  I'd heard a couple tracks, but nothing that really pulled me in.  On a whim, I gave it another listen about a month ago...and have listened to it every single day sense.  It really is a wholly remarkable album.  My favorite track that is stuck in my head this morning is Bathyalpelagic I:  Impasses.

I also can't get enough of Voyager's new album, simply titled "V".  Check out Hyperventilating

Been listening to Echosmith lately - oddly enough I discovered them by watching the aftershow of Teen Wolf lol.  They are a cool alt-ish band with a simple 4-man arrangement, really like the lead (female) vocalist.
