Hey WBS, I had pretty much given up on TV this season, but totally forgot about West Wing, which I had really gotten into last season. How many episodes have I missed from the new season?

Just started last night. They aired last season's finale, which we flipped to at the last second, and then last night was the premier. Apparently Jason Isaacs and Mary McCormack are on the show now, and Alan Alda and Jimmy Smits are joining up in the coming weeks, and they also shoot everyone in the White House from a low angle so it seems that they're bigger than they are. I also felt like I'd missed quite a bit from last season, but considering I stopped watching about mid-third year, that's understandable.
Terry O'Quinn was playing a general, hence my earlier post. Overall, it was an okay episode. Bartlett was digging his heals in regarding brokering a peace between the Israelis and Palestinians regardless of the fact that Palestinians had attacked a US convoy last year and killed some high-ranking people and injuring Donna Moss. Then as both delegations set down for the peace accords at Camp David, Bartlett gave the order to attack the terrorist camps. All the time I'm sitting there thinking, "Huh?"
Guess I'll have to burn through the later seasons once they start hitting the shelves now.
