Well, we've got Friday Night Lights among others coming out today. What all catches your fancy, people? Who's going to see what this weekend?

I'm going out with the wife tonight for the first time in a long time. So long, that we still have yet to see Spiderman 2. If I can't find that, we'll probably check out Sky Captain. Friday Night Lights looks great, though. I'm a Billy Bob Thorton fan, and I'm really curious to see just what kind of an actor Tim McGraw is.

Well, I'll be watching my laptop screen at work, as life at my local pharmacy is extremely boring on weekends. Oddly enough, it's also the days I get paid the most to simply be there. Go figure.

Friday Night Lights was VERY good. The football action was a bit over the top, but damn if I wasn't hooked during the last half-hour.

I'm still hoping to see Sky Captain. If not that, there's Shaun of the Dead which I've heard good things about.

Shaun of the Dead is GREAT... my wife, who hates anything even vaguely horror-related, went with me to see it and loved it. There is a bit of gore in it, especially as the movie goes along, but it's overwhelmingly a comedy. Definitely worth seeing.
