A new game shop just opened nearby and seems to stock nothing but Warhammer 40,000 stuff. Books. Models. Little board things. God knows what else.
What *is* Warhammer 40,000? I mean, fundamenatally. I haven't a clue.

Its a tabletop role playing game. My understanding of it is very limited but you buy little figurines representing your squad? platoon? company? *shrugs* then you paint them and detail them then you play against other people who have painted figurines as well. I imagine lots of dice rolling trying to kill as many of the other guys painted figurines as possible. I guess the person who has the most painted figurines wins. As for the concept itself I think its scifi oriented with orcs, humans and other nasty creepy crawlies, and lots of tech. But then again I could be totally off base on all of this. *shrugs*

That sounds so geeky :-)
Anyways, I question how a store can make a profit not selling to a niche market like gaming, but a niche product within a niche market. . . sounds like a failure to me.
