I can't download anything onto my work  computer, so I can't install cuteFTP or the like, so I'm looking for a way to upload large database files to work on at home.  Does anyone know of a good virtual uploader that I can direct to my home server??   :?:

I just bought a bud a 1GB high-speed USB 2.0 thumbdrive for his B-Day.  120 bucks at Best Buy.  Be careful, though.  There is a big difference between Full Speed (basically USB 1.1 speeds in USB 2.0 form) and High-Speed (full, actually USB 2.0 speeds).  I think that would be much better than GMail or FTP uploads.  Just my .02, though.

Sorry to take so long to respond . . . work  :?

The file's an Access file:  25 megs, I think.  I've tried gmail.  It worked until the file got over 20 megs.

What's a thumb drive?  Like a USB drive or something?  They've got this computer pretty well jacked, so I gotta go under the radar just to get shit moved that I'm doing for work.  Dumb ass IT guys think they're friggin Gustapo.

Any suggestions on ftp sites?  Heard somewhere in the past about Xdrive???
