I thought this would be the best place to wish Knightshade Dragon a happy Veteran's Day and to once again thank him for his service to our country.  And for his wife's fondue.

I thought Veteran's Day is reserved for service to our great country, not service to the California penal system.

Thanks a lot guys.  It means a lot to me, and I'm sure it means a lot to those who served or continue to serve.

a big thank you to all of you who have served, are serving, or will be serving.  without your commitment, none of this would be possible.

Through an interesting confluence of events, a relative of someone who works at my company recovered the challenge coin of Michael Thornton from the floorboards of his car when Mr. Thornton had been riding with him.  I was able to see and hold the coin and was wired the rest of the day just from that.

I am the son of an Air Force retired Master Seargent, the nephew of a retired Marine and the grandson of a Navy Machinist.

While I never got the opportunity to serve (medical reasons), I have the utmost respect for those who do.  Thank you for your service and sacrifice.
