Throwin' this out there to the masses for ideas... I'm looking for a unique gift idea for a young lady I'm seeing. I don't want to do anything cliche like a mani/pedi, spa day, flowers, perfume, etc. I want something that will capture her attention and make her squeal with delight (no adult toys, lol). I won't go into the details of the relationship other than to say it's not traditional...hence the "no flowers" thing. So what do you guys have? I need something by the 28th.

It sounds like you should give a gift of something memorable like doing some event together. For example, taking a cooking class together, going to a vineyard, or whatever else might be a memorable thing to do in your area. Or go to a really nice restaurant? Hope that helps give you some ideas!

If she likes animals I'd give a donation in her name to the local animal shelter, that was what I got for christmas this year and I feel it is the best gift I could have gotten.

Any hints about her likes, hobbies, favorite anythings? The "squeal with delight" reaction usually comes from amazingly thoughtful gifts tailored to the person. edit: never mind, just saw the OO thread. You're really leaving out some key details here as to the nature and price bracket of your gift.

Also, you should post a link to your OO thread. I think the GT crowd isn't going to balk much at your arrangement, Gromit. The solicitation for information here is useless as we have no context. Picnic dinner with Kermit the Frog ain't exactly what you're looking for.

Crossposted from OO:
I have been involved with sugar babies as a sugar daddy for the past 7 months (I'm divorced now). My most recent arrangement ended amicably a month ago and I have been "interviewing" suitable candidates. I found a young lady who is a Political Science major at a local university and we've hit it off rather well via emails and phone calls. We are meeting next Wednesday for dinner, and I'd like to surprise her with something unique. She's in her early 20's, no kids and is looking for a long-term arrangement while she finishes her bachelor's.
She's articulate, intelligent, and beautiful. Not sure what else I can tell you...
Price range? $200-$300

Man, that's tough. I've been in almost every single type of dating situation except this one. Are you meeting her for the first time? If you know her fairly well, what kinds of things does she like to do?

Good job Gromit! You unlocked an achievement! That's about as much approval that gellar has shown for anyone, or anything. I've got nothing though - unless she wants a Keurig or Tassimo coffee-maker.

I chose the Christmas lights night flight in a Cessna 172RG... We'll be flying over Chickasha, OK for their Festival of Lights. I've been playfully giving her small clues to build up her anticipation. So far, she's been given the following clues (she did not get the info in parentheses, of course): 18th century Dutch mathematician (Daniel Bernoulli/ Bernoulli's Principle) Wichita, Kansas (home of Cessna) Chickasha, OK (self-explanatory) ARROW (acronym used to ensure the proper documentation is aboard each flight) She's perplexed, but is getting pretty warm.

Hehe. From what I know of her, she strikes me as the type of person that would be amused by that.
