I was OK with the first movie, wasn't great but pretty cool.. anything in a fantasy setting is cool by me though... and I can watch Kate Beckinsale in *anything* especially a tight fitting leather outfit. She is as close to the perfect woman as anything in Hollywood to me. I'll be there opening weekend.

It was this moment that took the movie from being a little ho-hum to “holy shit, did that shark just eat a plane!?”

I really enjoyed the first movie and am looking forward to the sequel.  Hopefully I'll make it the theaters to see it, but I may have to go solo.

I will see it but I am not expecting much.  The first one was alright but could have been so much better.

The main thing which drove me nuts was that there was really nothing special about the vampires.  They drove cars, used guns, rode trains, etc.  Besides a long life they seemed like normal people.

Vampires are suposed to have supernatural powers not just better bullets.

I may go see it when it comes out.

Who's the female lead in this movie again?

My thoughts exactly.

BTW, how did the White Wolf lawsuit end up?  The story did seem pretty derivative.

Kate Beckinsale back in her role as a vampiric Death Dealer is worth a movie ticket for me, even if the movie isn't great...or good for that matter.
